Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of food and beverages, including basic cooking tasks, plating, and garnishing under supervision.
• Help set up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, buffets, and bar areas according to detailed event plans.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a polite, efficient, and professional manner, anticipating their needs.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all catering areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Support the event captain and team during service, responding promptly to requests and resolving minor issues.
• Assist with the breakdown and clean-up of event spaces post-service.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Catering Assistant or in a similar customer-facing role within hospitality is beneficial.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment and follow instructions precisely.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods and handle moderate lifting.
