About the Role

Our client is looking for an inspiring and qualified Mathematics Teacher to join their secondary school in Vereeniging . You will be responsible for teaching mathematics to learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12, equipping them with strong analytical and problem-solving skills essential for their academic and future careers. This role involves developing engaging lessons, fostering a love for mathematics, and supporting student success through both in-person and potentially some remote instruction, within a dynamic educational setting in Gauteng .

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction according to the national curriculum.
• Develop engaging lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to cater to diverse learning needs.
• Foster a positive and challenging learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Provide individual support and guidance to students struggling with mathematical concepts.
• Administer and mark examinations, providing constructive feedback to students.

Requirements

• A relevant teaching qualification and certification, with a specialization in Mathematics.
• Registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at the high school level.
• Strong subject matter expertise and a passion for mathematics education.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
