Your Responsibilities
In your role as a Technical Expert Reliability you will be a key pillar in improving maintenance practices and equipment performance across multiple plants.
Your scope of action:
- Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic customers and key accounts.
- Provide timely technical guidance and troubleshooting support for product performance quality concerns and packaging-related challenges.
- Manage customer escalations and lead root-cause investigations to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Lead customer trials qualification testing validation activities and product performance assessments.
- Conduct onsite customer visits to evaluate product performance and operational processes.
- Partner with Sales Operations Manufacturing Quality and Product Development teams to address customer needs and technical challenges while communicating customer feedback and technical requirements to internal stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with customers by delivering responsive and value-added technical support.
Required Qualifications
You will thrive in the role of Technical Expert Reliability if you identify with the following:
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance reliability chemical or process engineering
- Strong hands-on field experience (mechanical electrical or industrial maintenance)
- Expertise in maintenance optimization and performance analysis
- Good command of maintenance management systems
- Experience with systems such as SAP PLM or Spartakus is a strong asset
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Influential leadership expert mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
- Rigor autonomy and the ability to simplify complex technical issues with a results-oriented and continuous improvement approach
- Excellent collaboration skills in multi-site environments

Reporting to the Operations Support Manager or the Vice President Corporate Services the Technical Expert Directors mission is to support his or her group business partners and clients by carrying out specific interventions related to his or her field of expertise that respect Cascades business objectives deadlines and established budget. You use your technical expertise to perform rigorous diagnostics of operational processes and propose innovative and value-added solutions to your business partners and clients. Finally you implement best practices in your sector to ensure customer satisfaction and your achievements sustainability through effective knowledge transfer within the company.
