Sales Executive - FMCG

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to join their dynamic FMCG team based in Durban . This hybrid role will require a blend of strategic client engagement and effective territory management, with the flexibility to work both from the office and remotely. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our client's market share, and building strong relationships with key retailers and distributors across your assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of the FMCG landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the assigned territory.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market analysis.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners.
• Present and sell products effectively, highlighting features and benefits to meet customer needs.
• Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing the deal, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.
• Provide market feedback and competitive insights to the sales and marketing teams to inform strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar sales role, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory for client visits, alongside remote work capabilities.
