About the Role

Our client, a well-established bank in Benoni, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Bank Branch Manager to oversee its operations. This leadership role is critical for driving branch performance, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving business objectives within the banking and finance sector. You will be responsible for fostering a positive team environment, promoting financial products, and managing branch risk and compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage branch staff to achieve sales targets and service excellence.
• Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency, security, and compliance with banking regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase customer acquisition, retention, and product penetration.
• Manage branch P&L, monitoring key performance indicators and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues and providing exceptional service.
• Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong understanding of retail banking products, services, and operational procedures.
• Proven leadership, sales, and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements within the banking and finance industry.
