About the Role

Our client requires a nurturing and highly attentive Infant Caregiver for their daycare facility in Bloemfontein. This role is dedicated to providing exceptional care and early learning experiences for babies and toddlers. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and stimulating environment, meeting the unique needs of infants, and fostering their development through gentle interaction and age-appropriate activities. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Attend to infants' basic needs, including feeding, changing diapers, and comforting.
• Engage infants in age-appropriate play, sensory activities, and social interaction.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized nursery environment.
• Document daily activities, feeding, and sleep patterns for each child.
• Communicate effective with parents regarding their infant's daily routine and development.

Requirements

• Previous experience in infant care, preferably in a licensed daycare setting.
• A strong understanding of infant development and care practices.
• Patience, warmth, and a genuine affection for babies.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards for childcare facilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established routines.
• Must possess current CPR and First Aid certification for infants.
