Supply Chain Analyst (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join their fully remote team, supporting operations that include their facility in Klerksdorp . This role is critical for optimizing supply chain performance through data analysis, process improvement, and strategic recommendations. You will work independently, leveraging data to identify trends, forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and enhance overall efficiency across the supply chain network. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and service levels.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key supply chain metrics and KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, operations) to implement data-driven strategies.
• Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Research and recommend new technologies or methodologies to enhance supply chain operations.
• Provide insights and support for strategic decision-making related to network design and optimization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent understanding of supply chain management principles and logistics processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
