Job description: *The Opportunity:* Our cllient is a leading international property company seeking a strategic and analytical *Treasury Manager* to join their Finance division in Johannesburg. If you have a passion for managing multi-territory cash flows, foreign exchange, and leading a high-performing finance team, we want to hear from you. *Key Responsibilities:* * Manage internal capital by ensuring excess funds are invested and matured investments are reinvested on time. * Monitor foreign currency movements and recommend appropriate hedging actions for predicted currency fluctuations. * Prepare and present accurate weekly consolidated cash flow forecasts, ensuring countries with liquidity problems are identified and funded. * Ensure the group's companies comply with all Reserve Bank laws and regulations regarding foreign payments and loans. * Apply treasury controls consistently to minimize financial risk and safeguard the business against cyber-attacks and fraudulent payments. * Oversee the correct processing of payments in X3, ensuring daily cash book receipts and payments are accurately matched to POs or invoices. * Review bank reconciliations, resolve queries, and prioritize urgent loaded payments. * Lead, motivate, and train the treasury team while maintaining clear communication with the HOT, CFO, and internal stakeholders. * Evaluate business processes and recommend new banking techniques, systems, and process improvements.
