Senior Cybersecurity Analyst - Threat Detection

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR) to detect potential security incidents.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security threats, vulnerabilities, and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Develop and refine threat detection rules, signatures, and detection methodologies.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, coordinating containment and eradication efforts.
• Perform threat hunting activities to proactively identify unknown threats within the network.
• Provide regular reports on security posture, threat landscape, and incident response activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and common attack vectors.
• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint security solutions.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
