Cybersecurity Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and client-focused Cybersecurity Consultant to provide expert advice and solutions to their diverse clientele, with a presence in Soweto . You will assess security risks, develop tailored security strategies, and guide organizations in implementing effective security measures. This role requires a deep understanding of various cybersecurity domains and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You will play a key role in helping businesses strengthen their defenses against cyber threats and achieve their security objectives through insightful consulting services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments and gap analyses for clients.
• Develop and present strategic cybersecurity recommendations and roadmaps.
• Advise clients on implementing security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Assist clients in developing and maturing their incident response capabilities.
• Provide expertise on various security technologies and solutions.
• Manage client relationships and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong consulting background.
• Proven expertise in risk assessment, security strategy development, and security architecture.
• Broad knowledge of cybersecurity domains including network security, application security, and cloud security.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable.
