Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer for a fully remote position. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing our client's cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative, distributed environment, possesses strong automation skills, and is passionate about building resilient systems. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle and enhance our overall technical capabilities from anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS or Azure .
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment, testing, and monitoring using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes .
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment processes, application performance, and system resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS , Azure ) and their associated services.
• Strong experience with containerization (Docker ) and orchestration (Kubernetes ).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
