About the Role
Our client is searching for an experienced and dynamic Early Childhood Development Coordinator to oversee and enhance their educational programs in Benoni . This leadership role involves guiding a team of educators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early learning experiences, and fostering a nurturing environment for young children. You will be responsible for curriculum implementation, staff training, parent engagement, and maintaining compliance with educational standards, playing a vital part in the holistic development of children and the success of the educational center.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of early childhood educators, providing ongoing support and professional development.
- Oversee the implementation and evaluation of the curriculum, ensuring it meets developmental and educational standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, facilitating communication and engagement in their child's education.
- Ensure the center operates in compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements for childcare facilities.
- Organize and lead staff meetings, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
Requirements
- A Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of child development, pedagogy, and educational program management.
- Proven ability to manage staff, develop programs, and engage with stakeholders effectively.
