Project Manager - IT Implementation

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to manage the implementation of new IT systems and solutions in East London . This role is crucial for ensuring smooth transitions, successful system rollouts, and effective user adoption. You will work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to plan and execute implementation projects, manage timelines, and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT implementation lifecycles and a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget, supporting the organization’s technological advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT implementation projects, from planning to post-implementation review.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate activities between internal IT teams, business users, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure successful system deployment, configuration, testing, and user training.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management , with a focus on IT system implementations (e.g., ERP, CRM, custom software).
• Proven experience managing multiple IT implementation projects concurrently.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and deployment methodologies.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• A relevant degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, and PMP or Agile certification are highly desirable.
