Requirements

• Matric or an equivalent qualification
• Advanced Excel knowledge, including macros and programming, is advantageous
• Experience with PowerPoint and multidimensional/database tools such as ESSBASE and EOS will be an added advantage
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, apply sound judgement, and take ownership of decisions
• Strong analytical and numerical capabilities, combined with creative and structured problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail, with a logical, efficient, and methodical approach to work
• Highly motivated, proactive, and able to maintain performance in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal, listening, written, and verbal communication skills
• A strong customer-service mindset and ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
• High levels of integrity, professionalism, and commitment, together with a collaborative team spirit
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurately under pressure

Duties

• Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights on business performance to support the needs of various stakeholders
• Prepare and deliver monthly actual reporting, including Volume & Revenue at D+2, variance analysis, P&L, mid-month forecasts, and month-end forecasts
• Create, enhance, and maintain user-friendly performance monitoring and reporting tools, including Power BI
• Analyse labour costs, travel expenses, and other overheads, ensuring that key variances are fully understood and explained
• Consolidate and analyse LE, Budget, and R&O forecasts submitted by the various markets
• Support the Regional Controller in coordinating and driving forecasting activities for the Regional Office and South Africa, including initial budgets, revisions, and landings
• Contribute to the development of LE, Budget, and R&O forecasts for the Regional Office
• Compile and consolidate monthly reporting packs to provide clear visibility of Actual versus Forecast performance
• Aggregate reporting and insights from Clusters to highlight emerging risks, opportunities, and deviations from forecast
• Develop innovative and dynamic approaches to visualising large and complex datasets, enabling Management to make informed and effective decisions through tools such as Power BI
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve existing internal reporting processes and ways of working
• Assist in preparing relevant, insightful presentations for Senior Executive meetings
• Work closely with HR, Marketing Managers, General Managers, and other stakeholders to support effective forecasting and reporting processes
