Early Learning Center Assistant Teacher

About the Role

Our client seeks a dynamic and caring Early Learning Center Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers in their facility located in Klerksdorp . Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate educational activities.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Support children with daily routines, including meal times, hygiene, and nap times.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Observe children's behavior and development, providing input to lead teachers for assessment.
• Communicate positively with children, colleagues, and parents, fostering a supportive atmosphere.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant early childhood education coursework is a plus.
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Familiarity with early childhood development principles and practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
