Are you passionate about premium home products and confident advising clients both in a showroom and on site? Our client in Milnerton is looking for a dynamic Sales Consultant for a hands‑on sales role where you will assist customers in the showroom while also visiting homes and project sites to provide expert product advice and help clients choose the right solutions.

A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in retail or showroom sales is essential.

Requirements:

• Matric, or relevant qualifications
• Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in the home finishing, construction, or retail industry
• A proven and consistent sales track record is essential
• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
• Naturally technically minded, with the ability to read and measure plans and navigate a building site confidently
• Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Valid driver’s license

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet and assist customers by handling enquiries in person, telephonically, and via email
• Assess customer needs and provide informed product or service recommendations
• Actively engage with clients to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Interpret plans or conduct site visits to obtain accurate measurements for sales purposes
• Negotiate terms and successfully conclude sales agreements
• Manage and process customer orders from placement through completion
• Handle and oversee the invoicing process accurately and efficiently
• Work towards and consistently achieve monthly performance targetsAssist with stock management and stocktaking as required
• Provide support across different areas of the business to build skills and contribute to overall growth
• Carry out general administrative duties as required
