Solar PV Installation Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and organized Solar PV Installation Manager to lead their installation teams in and around Polokwane . This role requires overseeing the end-to-end installation process for residential and commercial solar photovoltaic systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and timely project completion. You will be responsible for managing installation crews, coordinating logistics, and liaising with clients and inspectors. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise teams of solar PV installers on job sites.
• Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and according to design specifications and industry standards.
• Plan and schedule installation projects, including material procurement and site preparation.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks throughout the installation process.
• Liaise with clients to address any concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate installation records and documentation for project closeout.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing installation teams, preferably in the solar PV industry.
• Strong understanding of solar panel systems, electrical wiring, and mounting techniques.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices for electrical work.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
