SALES AMBASSADOR

Rustenburg; North West | Lodge & Hospitality Sales

A proactive sales opportunity for a relationship-driven hospitality professional who knows the Rustenburg market and thrives on turning connections into revenue. We are looking for an experienced Sales Ambassador – Unit Sales to drive local business and revenue for a well-established lodge in the Greater Pilanesberg area. This is a highly proactive, field-based sales role focused on developing new business, strengthening existing client relationships and converting opportunities across the corporate, groups, conferencing and niche travel markets.

THE ROLE

Business Development

Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities across Rustenburg, Brits and surrounding areas, with a particular focus on local corporates, mining companies, PCOs and other high-potential market segments.

Client Relationships

Build and maintain strong relationships through regular face-to-face sales calls, telephonic engagement, digital communication and networking. A minimum of 48 face-to-face sales calls per month will form part of the role.

Revenue Generation

Take ownership of the sales journey from initial lead through to conversion, following up on quotations and actively growing groups and conferencing business.

Site Inspections & Events

Coordinate and host site inspections, educational visits, client groups and functions. Attend relevant networking events, trade shows and industry activities as required.

Sales Planning & Reporting

Work closely with the Trade Sales Lead to implement the property sales plan, maintain accurate CRM records and submit monthly client and sales activity reports.

Market Development

Develop a strong local business database and stay informed about events, businesses and opportunities within the Rustenburg market to support future sales activity.

WHO WE’R LOOKING FOR

You’ll bring:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Minimum 5 years’ industry-related sales and key account management experience.
• Relevant Sales or industry qualification advantageous.
• Luxury lodge or hospitality sales experience highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop relationships and convert new business.
• Strong sales, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Experience managing key client accounts and maintaining a sales pipeline.
• Good CRM, sales administration and reporting skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and a target-driven approach.
• Confidence networking and engaging with corporate and trade clients.
• Flexibility to attend occasional after-hours or weekend site inspections, events and trade shows.

Importantly; you should live in the Rustenburg area and have strong knowledge of the local business community, including key companies, industries and commercial opportunities.
