Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily farm activities, ensuring timely execution of planting, harvesting, and maintenance schedules.
- Manage farm inventory, including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and services at competitive prices.
- Assist in the scheduling and management of farm labor, ensuring adequate staffing for all operational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of farm activities, production yields, and operational expenses.
- Facilitate communication between different farm departments and management to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in agricultural operations, farm administration, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using agricultural management software and standard office productivity tools.
- Knowledge of crop production cycles and farm equipment maintenance is advantageous.
- A degree or diploma in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
