Our client is seeking an exceptional Lead Software Engineer to spearhead the development of innovative Energy Management Systems (EMS) . You will lead a talented team of engineers in designing, building, and deploying robust software solutions that optimize energy consumption for commercial and industrial clients. Key Responsibilities
Lead the architectural design and development of scalable, high-performance Energy Management Systems using modern software engineering practices.
Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive the implementation of robust testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes for all software releases.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant software solutions.
Ensure the security, reliability, and maintainability of the software platform, addressing technical debt proactively.
Contribute to the strategic roadmap for the EMS product, identifying new features and technological advancements in the energy technology space.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
Extensive experience in backend development (e.g., Python, Java, C#) and modern database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
Proven experience designing and building distributed systems and cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Deep understanding of energy management principles , IoT platforms, and data analytics is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills, essential for remote collaboration.
