Senior Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team in Vereeniging . This role involves leading the technical aspects of architectural projects, ensuring designs are translated into practical, buildable solutions. You will provide expert technical guidance, manage project documentation, and collaborate closely with architects and construction teams to achieve project success. This is a key position for an individual with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality results in the Gauteng region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of detailed technical drawings and construction documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and other consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.
• Mentor junior architectural technologists and technicians.
• Manage the production of Bills of Quantities and other tender documentation.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• Significant experience (e.g., 7+ years) as an Architectural Technologist.
• Expertise in Revit , AutoCAD, and other relevant architectural software.
• In-depth knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and South African building regulations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
