About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and inspiring Grade 4 Teacher to join their primary school faculty in Upington . This role involves educating young learners during a crucial stage of their academic development, focusing on building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and various subjects. You will create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning and encourages students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is patient, creative, and committed to nurturing the academic and personal growth of their students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons for Grade 4 students across the curriculum.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and observations.
• Maintain a positive, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and development.

Requirements

• A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Diploma in Education, B.Ed.) specializing in Primary Education.
• Registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
• Experience teaching at the intermediate phase (Grades 4-6) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the primary school curriculum and assessment standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
