Key Responsibilities
- Analyze well performance data to identify opportunities for production optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and implement strategies for artificial lift systems, well stimulation, and water/gas injection .
- Monitor reservoir conditions and production trends, recommending adjustments to maximize recovery rates.
- Conduct technical evaluations of new and existing wells, providing insights for operational strategies.
- Collaborate with geoscientists and reservoir engineers to integrate subsurface data into production plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards within the oil and gas industry .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production engineering within the oil and gas sector.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software and production analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of reservoir mechanics, fluid flow, and wellbore hydraulics.
- Experience with artificial lift technologies (e.g., ESPs, rod pumps, gas lift).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
