Site Manager - Commercial Projects

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Site Manager to oversee and direct construction projects from beginning to end in Midrand. This critical role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the primary point of contact on-site, managing a diverse team of subcontractors and construction workers, and upholding stringent safety protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met effectively.
• Oversee daily site operations, including resource allocation, progress monitoring, and quality control.
• Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites.
• Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and financial records.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry, with a track record of successful project completion.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, project management principles, and building codes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate diverse workforces.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Relevant construction management or engineering qualification is highly desirable.
