Senior Site Engineer

About the Role Our client is looking for a dedicated Senior Site Engineer to contribute to their project success through remote oversight and technical guidance. While this role offers the benefit of remote work, it requires a hands-on understanding of site operations and the ability to virtually support and manage construction activities. You will liaise closely with on-site teams, ensuring that engineering aspects of projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who can leverage technology to oversee construction progress and solve technical challenges from a distance, contributing significantly to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and guidance to site engineers and construction teams.
• Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and quality control plans.
• Monitor project progress against the construction schedule, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site through virtual supervision and reporting.
• Assist in the resolution of technical issues and queries that arise during construction.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in site engineering and construction supervision.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and quality assurance.
• Proficiency with engineering software and digital communication platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound engineering judgments.
• Comfortable working remotely while managing on-site technical operations and communication.
