About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Cloud AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy artificial intelligence solutions on leading cloud platforms in Benoni . This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, AI/ML services, and the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable, production-ready AI applications. You will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to operationalize machine learning models and ensure efficient deployment and management of AI services. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain MLOps pipelines for automated model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Integrate AI models into existing applications and workflows, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization for AI workloads to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists to understand model requirements and assist in their deployment.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based AI infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AI/ML services.
• Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML offerings (e.g., SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and workflows is highly beneficial.
