Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire product design lifecycle, from concept generation to final production release.
- Develop detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and prototypes for new product designs.
- Conduct rigorous design validation through FEA, CFD, and physical testing.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal product performance and cost‑effectiveness.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to understand market needs and translate them into product features.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of design excellence and innovation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in product design and development, with a strong portfolio.
- Expertise in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks Premium).
- Proficiency in simulation tools (FEA, CFD) and rapid prototyping technologies.
- Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
