Production Line Leader

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Line Leader to supervise a manufacturing line in Randburg . This hands-on role requires you to guide a team of production operators, ensure efficient workflow, and maintain high standards of productivity and quality. You will be responsible for the daily operations of your assigned line, troubleshooting issues, and fostering a safe and productive work environment for your team. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production operators on the assigned line.
• Ensure production targets are met efficiently and quality standards are maintained.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to production staff.
• Enforce safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives for the production line.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Line Leader or a similar supervisory role in manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and quality control principles.
• Willingness to work shifts as required by production demands.
