About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth initiatives in the Benoni area. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can identify new market opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and expand the company's reach. You will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies, analyzing market trends, and fostering key relationships that contribute to long-term revenue growth and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
  • Negotiate and close partnership agreements and sales contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, strategic sales, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities, with experience in building relationships at senior levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote planning with in-person meetings.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
