About the Role

Our client is seeking a specialized Industrial Engineer with a focus on automation to join their team in Klerksdorp . This role will be integral in evaluating, designing, and implementing automated solutions to enhance production efficiency and safety. You will work on projects that integrate robotics, advanced machinery, and smart manufacturing technologies into existing industrial processes. Key Responsibilities

• Assess current manufacturing processes for opportunities to implement automation technologies.
• Research, select, and integrate robotic systems, automated equipment, and control systems.
• Develop detailed specifications and project plans for automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to ensure successful automation deployment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automated systems to ensure peak performance and reliability.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel on new automated equipment and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automation solutions in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with robotics, PLCs, SCADA systems, and other industrial automation technologies.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems .
• Experience with project management and system integration.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, adaptable to a hybrid work environment .
