Our client is seeking a strategic and analytical Risk Management Officer to join their team, supporting operations across Randburg and beyond through a remote setup. This role is integral to identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the company’s financial stability, operations, and reputation. You will develop and implement robust risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance and promoting a risk‑aware culture throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk assessment and a proactive approach to managing complex challenges in the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential operational, financial, and strategic risks facing the company.
• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies and mitigation plans.
• Monitor the effectiveness of risk controls and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the insurance industry.

• Proficiency in risk management software and standard office applications.
