About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Financial Analyst to join their finance team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making from their Mahikeng hub. This role involves detailed financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to support business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis to support strategic planning.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances and drivers.
• Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify business opportunities and risks.
• Support decision-making processes by providing data-driven financial insights and recommendations.
• Assist in the evaluation of new business initiatives and investment opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
