Financial Advisor - Insurance Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and client-centric Financial Advisor with a specialization in Insurance to join their practice in Upington . You will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning services, focusing on helping clients identify their insurance needs and secure appropriate protection strategies. This role involves building trusted relationships, understanding client goals, and delivering tailored financial advice to ensure their security and prosperity within the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial needs analyses with clients to understand their goals and risk tolerance.
• Develop personalized financial plans that incorporate insurance solutions (life, disability, health, etc.).
• Recommend and facilitate the sale of suitable insurance products from a range of providers.
• Educate clients on financial concepts and the importance of risk management.
• Stay updated on financial markets, insurance products, and regulatory changes.
• Provide ongoing review and support for clients' financial and insurance portfolios.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Finance, Economics, Business).
• Proven experience as a Financial Advisor or in a similar client-facing financial role.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain required regulatory licenses (e.g., RE5, FAIS).
• Strong understanding of financial planning principles and various insurance products.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships in Upington .
