About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-savvy and analytical E-commerce Marketing Analyst to join their team in East London . This role is critical for driving informed marketing decisions by providing deep insights into customer behavior, campaign performance, and market trends. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to identify opportunities for growth, optimize marketing spend, and enhance the overall customer journey on our e-commerce platform. This hybrid position allows for valuable team collaboration and offers flexibility, making it an excellent opportunity for a passionate analyst to contribute to our strategic marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources, including web analytics, CRM, and marketing platforms.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all e-commerce marketing activities.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of customer behavior, segmentation, and lifetime value to inform marketing strategies.
  • Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email, etc.) and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights that can lead to improved customer acquisition, conversion rates, and retention.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to support data-driven decision-making across the business.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Marketing Analyst , Data Analyst, or Business Analyst, with a focus on e-commerce or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
