Kindergarten Teacher - Foundation Phase

Our client is searching for an enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher to lead their Foundation Phase program in Tembisa . This position involves crafting an engaging curriculum that prepares young learners for primary school, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and foundational life skills. You will foster a love for learning in a dynamic and supportive classroom setting, collaborating with parents and fellow educators to ensure each child's educational journey is both successful and enjoyable. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about laying a strong educational groundwork for children in the Gauteng area.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum aligned with national educational standards for the Foundation Phase.
• Create a stimulating and positive learning environment that caters to diverse learning styles.
• Assess student performance through various methods and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a respectful and cooperative atmosphere.
• Engage parents through regular communication and involvement in school activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any special needs.

Requirements

• Relevant teaching qualification, such as a B.Ed. or PGCE, with a focus on Foundation Phase.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching kindergarten or Grade R in a formal educational setting.
• Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning for young learners.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine commitment to early childhood education.
• Registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
