About the Role

Our client is seeking a nurturing and energetic Early Childhood Educator to join their dedicated team in Randburg. This position focuses on creating a safe, stimulating, and joyful environment for young children, fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. You will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities, guiding children through play-based learning, and ensuring their well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote holistic child development.
• Supervise children's activities, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being at all times.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued and encouraged.
• Observe and document children's progress, communicating regularly with parents about their development.
• Manage classroom routines, including feeding, hygiene, and nap times, with care and efficiency.

Requirements

• A qualification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., diploma or certificate) or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patience skills.
• Ability to maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
