Electronics Installation Specialist

Our client is seeking a meticulous Electronics Installation Specialist to join their team in Port Elizabeth . This role involves the precise installation, configuration, and testing of electronic systems and components at various client sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet strict technical standards and client requirements, often working on complex integrated systems. This hybrid role requires both hands-on field work and some ability to provide remote support or diagnostics. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in electronics, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality installations and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test a variety of electronic systems and equipment according to technical specifications and project plans.
• Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve any installation-related issues.
• Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and meet all regulatory compliance standards.
• Provide on-site training or guidance to clients on the operation of installed systems.
• Maintain detailed records of installation activities, including component serial numbers, test results, and client sign-offs.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electronics Installation Specialist or in a related field such as AV installation, IT infrastructure setup, or telecommunications.
• Strong understanding of electronic principles, wiring, and circuit diagrams.
• Proficiency in using electronic testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work independently at customer locations and manage project timelines effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to installation and troubleshooting.
• Relevant certifications in electronics or specific system installations are advantageous.
