About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Remote Chemical Process Consultant to provide expert advisory services to clients across various industries. This position involves leveraging deep technical expertise to analyze complex chemical processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategic solutions. You will work independently from your home office, engaging with clients remotely to understand their challenges and deliver actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong consultancy background and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of client chemical processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
- Develop detailed technical reports and strategic recommendations for process improvement, cost reduction, and safety enhancement.
- Provide expert advice on process design, scale-up, troubleshooting, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate closely with client teams via virtual meetings and digital communication channels.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to advise clients effectively.
- Ensure all recommendations align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Chemical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in chemical process engineering, with a significant portion in consulting or advisory roles.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems and deliver practical, data-driven solutions.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for remote client interaction.
- Proficiency with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills to work effectively remotely.
