Skilled Technician - HVAC Installation

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, and ventilation systems according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints , technical diagrams, and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
• Perform system testing, identify malfunctions, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and building codes during all installation and maintenance activities.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining work performed and addressing client inquiries in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion and client satisfaction in the KwaZulu-Natal region.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar installation role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and relevant installation tools and equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical manuals and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Relevant certifications or vocational training in HVAC systems.
• Physical ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights, common in the Pietermaritzburg area.
