Remote Senior BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Remote Senior BIM Coordinator to spearhead their digital construction efforts on a national scale. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location within South Africa. You will be responsible for managing BIM processes, ensuring model quality, and facilitating seamless collaboration among project teams, engineers, and contractors using advanced digital platforms. This role is crucial for enhancing efficiency and accuracy in project delivery, supporting key projects potentially including those in Bloemfontein.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement office-wide BIM execution plans and standards.
• Oversee the creation and management of BIM models across various disciplines.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all BIM deliverables.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors on BIM requirements.
• Provide expert technical support and training on BIM software and workflows.
• Stay abreast of the latest BIM technologies and advocate for their adoption.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in BIM coordination and management, preferably within an architectural or construction firm.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and a deep understanding of Navisworks, BIM 360, and other related software.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 19650).
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate complex BIM models and project data.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to excel in a fully remote , autonomous work environment.
