About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sanitation Technician to join their operational team in Port Elizabeth . Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cleaning and sanitation tasks on specialized equipment and facilities.
• Operate and maintain industrial cleaning machinery, including high-pressure washers and chemical sprayers.
• Develop and implement detailed cleaning schedules and procedures for specific areas.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Train and mentor junior sanitation staff on proper techniques and safety procedures.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and environmental regulations during all operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sanitation Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various industrial cleaning equipment.
• Strong understanding of chemical handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks in various environmental conditions.
