About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical SEO Specialist to join their marketing team in Soweto . This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to increase organic visibility and drive qualified traffic to our client's website. You will conduct keyword research, perform technical SEO audits, optimize on-page and off-page content, and stay abreast of the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of improving search engine rankings and possesses excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. You will collaborate with content creators and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital assets, contributing to the online growth of our client within the dynamic market of Soweto .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
• Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization.
• Perform technical SEO audits and implement recommendations to improve website crawlability, indexability, and site speed.
• Optimize on-page elements (meta titles, descriptions, headers, content) and develop off-page SEO strategies (link building, digital PR).
• Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a demonstrated history of improving search engine rankings.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, best practices, and search engine algorithms.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
• Excellent understanding of website architecture, HTML, and content management systems.
