Quality Assurance Inspector - Aviation

Our client is seeking a vigilant and thorough Quality Assurance Inspector to uphold the highest standards within their aviation maintenance operations in Port Elizabeth . This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all maintenance work performed meets regulatory requirements, manufacturer specifications, and internal quality standards. You will be responsible for inspecting aircraft, components, and documentation, identifying deviations, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively. This role is essential for maintaining the safety and airworthiness of the aircraft operated by our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft, components, and maintenance processes.
• Verify that all maintenance activities comply with relevant aviation regulations and technical specifications.
• Review and approve maintenance records, work orders, and certifications.
• Identify non-conformities and deviations from standards, initiating corrective actions.
• Perform audits of maintenance facilities and personnel to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
• Stay current with aviation regulations and quality management best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation quality assurance or maintenance.
• Thorough understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., SACAA, EASA) and quality control principles.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities.
• A recognized qualification in aviation maintenance or quality control is highly desirable.
