Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes, including PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Specify, select, and procure instruments, control valves, transmitters, and other related hardware.
• Develop and maintain control logic, ladder logic diagrams, and cause & effect matrices.
• Conduct system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root cause analysis for control system failures.
• Ensure systems meet all relevant safety standards, regulatory requirements, and performance specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams, operations, and maintenance personnel to support project execution and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering, preferably within the energy or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of process control strategies, PID tuning, and system integration.
• Experience with various PLC/DCS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell) and SCADA systems.
• Proficiency in developing P&IDs, loop diagrams, and functional design specifications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and remote communication skills.
