Early Childhood Development (ECD) Facilitator

Our client is seeking an experienced and nurturing Early Childhood Development (ECD) Facilitator to lead their vibrant ECD program in Sandton . This role involves creating and managing a stimulating, safe, and play-based learning environment for young children. You will be responsible for developing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. The ideal candidate is passionate about early learning, possesses strong leadership qualities, and is dedicated to providing a nurturing foundation for children in the Gauteng region.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a play-based curriculum that stimulates children's holistic development.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their developmental milestones and needs.
• Manage daily classroom operations, including routines, hygiene, and meal times.
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's development and engaging them in school activities.

Requirements

• A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or a related field.
• Proven experience working with young children in an ECD setting.
• In-depth knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A warm, patient, and creative disposition, with a genuine love for children.
