HR Compliance Specialist

About the Role

Our client is searching for a meticulous HR Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to all relevant labour laws and regulations in Pretoria . This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our HR practices and mitigating legal risks. You will be responsible for auditing HR processes, updating policies, and providing training on compliance matters. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of South African employment equity, BBBEE, and other compliance frameworks, working proactively to safeguard the organization's HR operations within the administrative capital.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all national and local employment laws and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure legal adherence.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices and documentation for compliance gaps.
• Prepare and submit required compliance reports to government agencies.
• Provide guidance and training to management and staff on compliance requirements.
• Manage the process for employment equity and BBBEE submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, HR, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience specifically in HR compliance or legal roles.
• In-depth knowledge of South African Labour Relations Act, EEA, and BBBEE legislation.
• Experience with HR auditing and policy development.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
