About the Role

Our client is looking for a data-driven and analytical Logistics Analyst to join their fully remote team, supporting operations across various locations, including Vereeniging. This role is essential for optimizing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the company's supply chain and logistics operations. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting logistics data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret logistics data from various sources to identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track logistics performance, costs, and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the supply chain.
• Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement recommended changes and monitor their impact.
• Assist in forecasting and planning for transportation needs and inventory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Analyst or in a similar analytical role within logistics or supply chain.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and potentially BI platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent understanding of supply chain operations and logistics principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, suitable for a remote work setting.
• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, or a related analytical field.
