Industrial Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Operations Manager to lead their manufacturing and production operations in Nelspruit . This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of goods, while managing resources and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will oversee all aspects of the plant's operations, including production planning, quality control, maintenance, and staff management. This is a critical position for an individual passionate about optimizing industrial processes and achieving operational excellence within the manufacturing sector in Nelspruit .

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day manufacturing and production operations to meet output and quality targets.
• Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and equipment.
• Implement and enforce stringent health and safety standards within the facility.
• Manage the maintenance and upkeep of all industrial machinery and equipment.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors and staff.
• Drive initiatives for process improvement, waste reduction, and cost optimization in the production environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial operations management , preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control systems, and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven ability to manage operational budgets and drive cost-saving measures.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with safety regulations and environmental compliance in industrial settings.
