Senior Digital Strategist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Senior Digital Strategist to lead digital transformation initiatives. This is a fully remote position, allowing top talent to contribute from anywhere in South Africa. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute data-informed digital strategies encompassing SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, and email marketing.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities and threats.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives, providing actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of digital strategies across all business units.
• Lead and mentor junior digital marketing staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Present strategic recommendations and performance reports to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in digital strategy, digital marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
• Expertise across various digital marketing channels and platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic actions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, crucial for remote leadership.
• Experience in developing and managing comprehensive digital marketing budgets.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is highly desirable.
