About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Robotics AI Engineer to join their innovative team in Mahikeng . This role is focused on developing and integrating artificial intelligence capabilities into robotic systems, enabling them to perceive, reason, and act autonomously. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI algorithms for robot perception, navigation, and manipulation.
• Integrate machine learning models for tasks such as object recognition, path planning, and decision-making.
• Design and build control systems for robotic platforms, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Simulate and test AI and control algorithms in virtual environments before deployment on physical robots.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to select and integrate sensors, actuators, and computing platforms.
• Debug and optimize AI and robotics software for performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on AI and robotics.
• Proven experience in developing AI solutions for robotic applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python , C++, and experience with robotics frameworks like ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Strong understanding of machine learning , computer vision , and control theory.
• Experience with simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, MuJoCo) and hardware integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in complex systems.
